Shipping and Handling Information
We ship two kinds of orders:  Perishable and Non-Perishable.

Non-Perishable items such as skulls, robes, soaps, and headmounts, can be sent to any of the 48 contiguous states using the UPS Ground option.

Perishable orders are also shipped using UPS, but the type of UPS service used depends on the destination of the order.  All meat is shipped frozen, packed in dry ice inside of a re-usable cooler.  We take every precaution to make sure that the meat arrives in a usable condition.  We do not like for meat to be in-transit anymore than 48 hours.  We believe that the quality of the meat begins to deteriorate after such time.  Below is a map of the time it takes for orders to be in-transit between our facility and any destination in the continental U.S..  Destinations in the one or two day transit area in the map below can use UPS Ground.  Destinations in the three- (or more) day zones we will use UPS 2nd Day Air.  We do not ship outside of the 48 contiguous states.

We fully stand behind the quality of our meat.  We will replace the order if it arrives in a substandard condition as long as we have the correct and complete shipping address and the correct shipping service was chosen.  If during check-out a customer chooses UPS Ground and the destination is actually outside of the two-day Ground delivery area, we will contact the customer to change the service to 2nd Day Air in order for the meat to arrive in good condition.  UPS Ground is much less expensive than 2nd Day Air, and while we certainly understand the temptation to choose UPS Ground outside of the two-day Ground delivery area, we are not confident that the meat would arrive in a usable condition.  In addition, we only ship on Tuesdays to avoid any orders being left in a warehouse in route over a weekend.  To be shipped on Tuesday, orders must be received by 9p.m. on Monday evening.

We have a handling charge of $20.00.  This charge pays for the box, the re-usable cooler, dry ice, and other shipping supplies.   We have used other forms of refridgerant and have found dry ice to be the best performing option.  Dry ice does evaporate, so the amount you see when you receive your order will be much smaller than the amount we originally packed when we shipped the order out.
